Please forgive the noise in the background. The speech therapist is using a technique that she found called MELODIC INTONATION THERAPY(MIT). She has never used it before but since Dad likes to sing so much she decided to try it. As you can see it takes Dad a lot of concentration to be able to do this. Dad is a lot better at saying 'Thank You' He has even got to the point where we just tell him to say Thank You and he does. Really big strides this week.

Thanks for the video, Missy. It is great to see Mom helping Dad learn and Dad trying so hard. It was also great to hear Paul Simon when I pulled up the blog. I have a wonderful memory of Dad tapping his fingers on the steering wheel and moving his head while he sang along to Paul Simon in the car.
